Raiding When people infiltrate a business for the purposes of raiding it of value and diminishing its net worth they are raiding the company. There are several types of raiding. The least damaging form of raiding is the individual who derives a profit by favoring certain material suppliers and service providers who jack up their prices when billing the company or supply it with marginalizes merchandise. Here the raider plays the role of the willing fool to salesman who are able to satisfy the company buyer's desires, however small. A raider can have a damaging effect on the bottom line by driving the company into the ground particularly when other people of like mind are brought on board. A competing company might encourage several individuals in a targeted company to drive that business out of business or willing to sell the business for cheap. A raider can radically alter the ethical nature of a business. A they drive a business into unprofitability they can appear to be benificial to the company by dealing with client's in unethical ways. Since the company is desparate their only concern at this point is profits.
