Phantom Billing

A practice employed by criminal enterprises to fleece their customers. A phantom bill is a bill that is crafted in such a way to go undetected by the person receiving the bill. These billings can start out small and grow into huge amounts. There is a science to phantom billing. The amounts are more often than not small in the beginning to ferret out weaknesses in the client’s perceptual field. In large predatory corporations this practice is reduced to a science. There is always some excuse for the phantom bill.
