Being Careful

In order to do a good job in in any profession the businessman must proceed with a degree of care fully cognizant of what they are doing. "Taking Care" is just part of the job consumers expect. Taking care is what's required to take care of all the little details a job demands. Anything less leaves the consumer will a qualitatively diminished product or service.

Through, detailed, patient work describes the ideal of craftsmanship. It also describes what it takes to be careful. Good work cannot be done in a hurry. For example, service works such as auto repair, plumbing, and woodworking presents the customers with three choices. They can have the work fast and inexpensive but not of high quality. They can have the work done slowly and carefully of high quality but not inexpensive. The customer can have work of high quality and inexpensive but they will have to wait.
